Yeah haha it isn't for any of my cars dw, a friend of mine wanted one so i said id do it for her.

Started some rust repairs on the ke between uni and work today, not too much in it so should have that all fixed throughout the week ready for colour on the w.e.

 

 

 

 

 

EDIT-

Got a bit bored tonight, so dummy fit up the chrome bars. Front is a perfect fit, just need to drill new holes to match the support bars. The sides on the rear bar are longer then the originals but might look ok once fitted. can't get the old support bars off to dummy fit it properly, bolts are on sooo tight! But will give it another crack 2moro.

Looking good Steve, I`m glad to see the old girl getting the attention she deserves. Keep up the good work. Blame my son for the tight bumper bracket bolts. He`s a gorilla with a spanner in his hand.

Try find some ke30 bars, I fit them on mine and they look really good. A smidge too wide but fit nice and tight to the body.

 

And they only cost 60 bucks.

Yeah i like the front bumper i have fit really well, its a ke55 bumper i think, but might need a different rear bar. Anything will look better then the stock oversized black ones!

 

Got bored after work today so sprayed up the engine bay.

Yeah only took the washer bottle/overflow, coil and some relay off, everything else stayed on, just covered everything up. Still need to get some thinners onto the brake booster to clean some overspray off. Came up pretty good for a quick afternoon job.

Cheers mate, altho the engine paint is still really good, don't think ill need to bother re-painting it.

Done the datto's engine the same colour, or close to it.

Don't get me wrong, i have nothing agaisnt transformers, just don't like decals and airbrushing on cars.

need to hurry up and finish it actually, meant to be giving it to her for her bday this week... ahah

 

got the door jams, inside the boot, under the bonnet and inside the fuel flap all sprayed up yesterday. Should have the body done over the next few days. Will post pics after i get home from uni.

So i don't like the cream with the gunmetal paint, so I'm in the process of painting all the bit up black, then gunna vinyl dye the door cards black with body coloured inserts..

body got a few coats of hi fill today, needs a few more then will be ready for colour, was hoping to have it painted by today but had a big w.e so wasnt really in the state to be up early to paint ahha
