Taz_Rx Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 i know every1 has already said you was 100% in the right but i wanna chuck in my 2c worth as well trailer or no trailer you were driving on the correct side of the road and i asume at the posted speed limit... any vechile entering that roadway(either from left or right side) must give way or merge into the traffic already on that roadway also mention to the guy that hit you that the hire company charged you for damages to the trailer (make up somthing like it damaged the wheel berring) and see if ya can't scam him for some $$ :) 1. It doesn't matter if he was speeding. The guy who pulled out was still at fault. 2. You're a bloody idiot for suggesting to scam the guy. Do you think maybe you'd need some written eveidence (like a bill from the trailer hire mob) to claim said damages. :rolls: 1 thing to check blzbub - Was there a solid whit line between the lanes you merged between? Most intersection will have dotted (overtaking lanes) line leeding up to and intersection then the last 10m or soo will be a solid white line. Won't really make any difference in who fault it was though. Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted September 14, 2010 Author Report Posted September 14, 2010 Ill check that white line thing on google earth, that's a good call. Quote
