fallup88 Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 Planning on buying a toyota k-series engine manual. I have a 4k engine in my ke25, on the manual I found for sale it says "includes: 2K, 3K-B, 3K-C, 3K-H, & 4K-J". Does anyone know if the 4K-J is the same as a normal 4K? Whats the difference? Thanks Quote
altezzaclub Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 Grab it!~ I haven't come across a 4K-J, and Wiki doesn't recognise it either. If they were a common variant then everyone would have heard of them. It appears in google a couple of times, like in this parts list. SS NO. OEM NO. ENGINE MODEL OTHER SET NO DIAMETER PCS TOYOTA K 2K 3K 4K 5K 3K-U 3K-J MS-1056GP 54.03 10 SS-1004 R002H K 2K 3K 4K 5K 3K-U 4K-J CB-1056GP 45.02 8 SS-1005 M004H 3P 4P MS-1062GP 56.04 6 SS-1006 R004H CB-1062GP 50.04 8 ... We have 4K-C generally, the 4K-E being injected and the 4K-U being the Japanese domestic motor. Over 95% of the manual with be of use to you, any differences would be in things like compression or cam if it is another term for a 4K-U motor. Quote
