Bolt Removal

Hey guys, have a snapped bolt in a turbo i have from the previous owner, just wondering where people reccomend me going to get it removed. Would much rather pay someone rather than mucking around with easy outs etc. Or even better if someone here wanted o do it for a 6 pack thatd be awesome also :P

what bolt have you broken? manifold to head? or manifold to turbo?

Turbo to dump pipe is broken, so guessing just taking it somewhere would end up cheaper than thread Dr. Out of curiosity how much roughly is it to get one fixed?

not sure how much he charges, he managed to drill out a easy'out broke inside a exhaust manifold stud.

 

basically he's the guy we ring when a mechanic tries to remove the broken bolt. f@$ks it and makes it worse LOL

well maybe not 'drill out', they use whats known as an EDM machine, it etches away a bit at a time.

if i remember correctly he used a diamond tip drill bit?

that's another way of doing it, the electrical discharge method is for the hardest of the hard.

This one doesnt look too hard, if there was a tiny bit more sticking out id have a crack at welding a nut on and getting it that way but i think itd just make it worse....
