mikeys toy[RL] Posted September 17, 2005 Author Report Posted September 17, 2005 not sure how to read it Quote
mikeys toy[RL] Posted September 17, 2005 Author Report Posted September 17, 2005 (edited) at the wheels.. max hp 54@? max tq 76@? don't know how to read them to find out when the peaks are, help? factory ratings were: 59hp and like 75lbs AT THE FLYWHEEL Edited September 17, 2005 by mikeys toy Quote
irokin Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 I think the dyno operator started the run too early.. so the dip in the middle is probably where he changed gears. And whats this crap with plotting time vs power output. It should be RPM or wheel speed vs power output... Id just take the max figures down the bottom and use that This is how a good dyno run (by a good operator on a dyno dynamics shooutout dyno) should look Quote
mikeys toy[RL] Posted September 17, 2005 Author Report Posted September 17, 2005 i was doing the driving, i shifted way too soon Quote

What mods have you got? My KE20 which was virtually stock (maybe a weber on it when i ran? don't remember) and had a very tired 3K ran a 19.56@ about 60mph on the quarter mile Quote
Super Jamie Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 yeah, he started the run too early is all, you should be in 4th (or whatever the 1:1 gear for your car happens to be) for any dyno reading i would think 60hp from factory was a pretty over-confident estimate on toyota's part, it's probably less than that in real life, so you've actually done quite well Quote
mikeys toy[RL] Posted September 18, 2005 Author Report Posted September 18, 2005 (edited) i never even got it out of 3rd the long rise you see is 3rd last time i ran her she did 11 flat in the 1/8mi Edited September 18, 2005 by mikeys toy Quote
