Hey guys just wondering if anyone has any pics of there 84 keto manual.

 

I'm gathering the parts to do the conversion from auto to manual, i have found a whole in the firewall were i believe the clutch cable is going to go but i went to the wreckers and looked at one and my old man rekons it was the speedo cable,

 

i don't belive that as i gather even being an auto my speedo cable will be going through the same whole?

 

if anyone has a few pics that would be very helpfull to clear my head and start the work:)

There is a place for it as shown here- I think there is a hole with a panel over it...

the speedo cables go threw the same hole but the connections to the gearbox are different i think. The clutch cable goes threw a larger hole above the speedo next to the master cylinder. i think there a gromment there in auto ones.

Hey mate, here is a picture of my manual ke70 engine bay. This car has not been converted, however recently I converted my AE71 from auto to manual and it required a different speedo cable as the auto wouldnt slot into the manual transmission. You will most likely need a manual starter motor, as that was the case with my ae71....

 

If you bought a manual shell to stip at home, it'd be much easier because then you can pull all the manual bits off at once.
