wan.7 Posted December 23, 2010 Report Posted December 23, 2010 Hi Guys, Just thought I'd throw this out there and see if anyone has (or knows of) my old 1974 KE25. I sold it back in 2004 (or so). When I sold it it was dark blue and had a 4k with a 4 speed. The bonnet and roof were both only painted in undercoat at the time. It also had an aftermarket alarm with central locking as well as 2 holes in the firewall where there was aftermarket AC running. The original 4x100 hubs had been removed and changed to 4x114 hubs and it had 5 spoke globe mags with 205 yokahamas on it. It also had an Alpine 3 disc in-dash cd changer in it at the time I sold it. I'm just curious to know if anyone knows where it is now and I'd love to know if it's been all fixed up and glowing away in all it's glory or rusting away at a wreckers somewhere (to break my heart). Here are the last pics I had of it before I sold it. By wan7000 at 2010-12-22 By wan7000 at 2010-12-22 Thanks, Matthew!!! Quote
Tally Posted December 23, 2010 Report Posted December 23, 2010 neat little ke25 you had, i have one also, awesome cars, fair few QLD members on here that might know its whereabouts! Quote
wan.7 Posted December 23, 2010 Author Report Posted December 23, 2010 If I remember correctly it went down to NSW or VIC. So maybe somewhere down there. It WAS a really tidy car when I got it...first car, I was the 3rd owner.....then I did bad things to it....it WAS super duper tidy, it was kinda rough when I sold it..... :( Quote
twinkytodd Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 looks identical to one here in WA also.... maybe wrong though. Quote
wan.7 Posted December 28, 2010 Author Report Posted December 28, 2010 WA? Interesting if it made it all the way over there. Any ideas who ownes it? Quote
twinkytodd Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 (edited) a young girl i think, i left a note on it a few weeks ago offering to buy it but had no call back there can't be too many dark blue ke25's around surely. wasn't in the 'best' condition though, paint was fairly haggard etc. didn't have a 'deluxe' badge on the back did it? wan.7 Posted December 28, 2010 Author Report Posted December 28, 2010 Hey mate, there was no "delux" badge on the boot, there was a patch of bad paint where it should have been though. Surely it would have seen a bit of paint by now, otherwise it would still be undercoat on the roof and bonnet. Did it have the same wheels or you can't remember? If you see it again if you could snap a photo it would be fantastic. I think I'd be able to spot whether or not it was mine with a good pic or two! Thanks!! Quote
