To all in Melbourne,

 

I'm aware that I can get a simple valve spring compressor for about 35 bucks. But as it's going to be a one off job, can anyone loan me one for a a few weeks in Jan? I've ordered a valve lapper on e-gay and a VRS kit.

 

I considered spending the 35 bucks but as it's a one off, can anyone help?

May not be what your expecting, but i made mine.

Do have to take the rocker gear off but it does the job pretty well.

oh yeah easy as. I have the tool you need, I just need to pick it up from the folks around the corner. You can use it if you do the job in my workshop on a weekend unassisted. Being 15min away is handy.
