  1. The three door jewelery .....bars etc are very collectable. They may not be worth money complete but there are international peeps looking for the early parts. Pm me and i'll give you the run down. I have 2 early civics and an early accord. Bamboo
  2. Update at centre road 2 ke55 - one complete with house paint 1 very crunched ksev Ms 50 crown 1 ae93 twin cam. Mostly complete.
  3. It 's back. Daihard with a hair dryer. Carby has an awful flat spot and the idle is everywhere. I've ordered a carby kit and should be here next week. Still running the non turbo exhaust as the 2" one that came with it had a massive hole in the muffler. Another thing on the to do list. Oh and get tyres fitted to the turbo wheels. Stud pattern? 4x110 Thanks for the comments Ben. The front frowny nose on the white one is longer. I found this out the hard way when I tried to fit the turbo front sway bar.
  4. There's been a bit of action in the garage. Engine is in and running. Biggest drama was the electric fuel pump relay. Non Turbo's have a mechanical pump. I figured I'd swap engine looms. Turns out the loom had completely different plugs in the back of the fuse box. So with the help of the Gregorys Manual I spliced the connector into the original loom. All running and has been road tested. Now I'm tackling the interior. Although I thought this'd be a straight bolt in there are so many little differences between series 1 and series 2, it's driving me nuts. Still, Xmas holidays may as well be used fixing old cars! Oh and check the bonnet hinge on the donor car. Very out of square.
  5. Centre road update Ksev manual highcam sedan. Mostly complete. Hit in the front. Rt104 corona. Complete. Has eyebrow (external sunvisor) 2uz supra. Happy hunting. Bamboo
  6. Centre road update. Nothing k. An ae95 wagon was the only thing of Toyota interest. The forklifts were doing alot of clearing. From experience Christmas always bring new stock.
  7. It's taken over a year. New house and new cars. I was playing Hondas and then this came along. Factory Turbo Charade. Guy I bought it off had no idea. Stopped running and he left it in his driveway for a year. The problem. Points had closed up. Wacked in a new set a boom. Engine and turbo are sweet. Body has had obvious repairs and seemed too good too be true. It was. Looks like it's been cut and shut. Rust in the drivers rail. When I had it on stands the drivers door wouldn't close! The Plan? Drop the running gear and interior into the silver Charade.
  8. My brother broke his fan belt a few weeks ago in his '38 and was stuck on the side of the road. Womble1972 saw the rollaclub sticker on the back, picked him up, drove him to a parts shops and drove him back. Club power. Me and my brother owe the man a few beers. Thanks again. Bamboo
  9. Thanks. I've got an early ke50 without the wiper and I've been a searching. Bamboo
  10. Oh and has the Jap diff which can update the stud pattern to 114.3 on a ke 20 axle housing
  11. It's basically a ke30 mechanically. Do you have the rear wiper assembly? Bamboo
  12. It was my brother. He's got the 50 on loan while I fix his abused 38.
  13. Well the Honda addiction just keeps on growing. I love the 1st gen stuff. Just picked this up and it is in amazing condition. Very well looked after and not expensive! 3 owner with 135k on the clock. Couple of scratches but nothing sinister. Just going to detail and drive. I love the number plates!!
  14. Well I didn't like the slide on caravan thingy so I sold it after one trip. So here is version 2
  15. Problem solved. Thanks to both of you.
  16. Found this kicking around. I don't think it's 30/55 and that is all I've owned. ???????????????
  17. Went to centre road. The ke11 is stripped. It is a 3k car. New car in. Ke30 2 door. It has been an unfinished project with a box of stuff in bags labelled. Mostly complete with a nice cream interior. Good luck Bamboo
  18. Youtube video of our team mates. Some nice ke35 shots
  19. Speaking to a bloke recently who said he needed a new clutch. Said he had a 94 corolla. Seen enough of them so I thought I knew 'em. When I first saw it I thought it was a south african import. It isn't. It was imported by Toyota Australia. So it is very much like the KE50. Brought in alongside the aussie built stuff. It isn't at all bad to drive now I've fixed the clutch.
  20. For some reason it's got a ke20 radiator held in with bailing twine. Go figure
  21. Went to centre road wreckers today looking for 30/55 parts. There wasn't ANY 30/55's. None, nadda, zip. When I was in line paying for some daihatsu parts, the guy in front was asking how much he'd get for a 75 'rolla. Out the front we had a chat. It was his mother in laws car. So I bought it sight unseen. He drove me to pick it up. It had a few days rego, but my, what a POS. Brake pedal goes to the floor, tie rod is so bad at 40 km/h the whole car shakes. But apart from rust in the front guards, and a tiny bit above the rear wheel arches, body looks good. Drivers side doors have been hand painted???? So I may fix it, or I'll wreck it. Being an early dirty 30 it has the all chrome bars front is ok and back is dented. Rear seat is in good nick. Jap diff and chrome insert bonnet with only minor surface rust. Bamboo
  22. It may get a turbo...... If I can find a donor car.
  23. Picked this up tonight. All 3cyl goodness with a 2speed semi auto. NO RUST. One family from new. Needs a tidy up, but goes well. Well for a 1 litre anywayz. More to come......
  24. Well, Today was the day the trooper is no more. I'm just happy to have the thing outta my drive way. When I say strip, I mean strip. I took or sold everything!! Slowly getting rid of unwanted parts through e-gay. The troopers heart still beats in the white wonder. Got a camper for the back, so new adventures to come. Although I must say, I don't know if I'll get used to all that luxury! Gunna head north in a few months. Bamboo
  25. And you are so bringing a rusty ksev
