Hey guys and girls i want to get a rear windscreen out of my white parts car, cause it has some stickers on it i don't want to part with,

so my question is what is the best way to go about it, obviously there WILL be some cutting of rubber to get it out. But what is the easiest way to pull it out

It is very difficult without the proper tools and even then it's a tricky operation. The biggest challenge to removing a windscreen in one piece is the RayBan wraparound-style of the screen. Seen from the side, the screen has a considerable bow in it.

If you want to attempt a windscreen removal, you will need two assistants in the vehicle to support the weight of the screen. With them holding the screen in place, cut as much as possible of the rubber windscreen seal away as you possibly can. Ideally, take the seal down so it is flush with the bodywork.

Find a third assistant and then ask the two inside the car to gently push the far corners of the screen outwards. You and your third assistant should be in place to receive the windscreen as it tips out. If there is any resistance at all, immediately stop pushing the screen or it will crack. Cut more of the seal away and try again.

OR

Using heat cable is the best way you can buy this at any good electric outlets, what you need 4-5 meters of heat cable and one 12 volt car battery plus a pair of welding gloves, remove any edging around the window, wrap the cable around the window nice and tight, attach the two ends of the heat cable to the battery 1 side to the plus and another to the negative, the cable heats and the seal around the window becomes very hot,you can then push the window out quite easley from the inside, can be done with 1 person but its better with 2,ps,the gloves are in case you need to pull or move the cable a little while it is hot, takes 5 mins once the cable is in position.

You should be able to just pull back the seal from the inside and push the window a little, slowly work around the window it should come out.

Like theres a think seal on the back (on the inside of the car)

Cheers Mate

This does work. Removed a rear windscreen and seal out of a KE38 by myself with 2 flat blade screw drivers.

All you need to do is slowly work the rubber lip on the inside of the car out and over the steel seam/lip of the car.

Installed the seal and window into another car with washing line rope (best stuff to use) Seals perfect and havent had a problem.
