That and the bolts will cut into the tyre under full compression! I did contemplate re-fitting them and making them clear nicely, but eh Ask around some panel shops man, dare say most wont be interested. Maybe try some hot rod oriented places/people, they are good at this sort of thing. I do know one person who may do it, but its 45min probably from you.
