was considering dropping the 4k turbo idea and going for a little bit more power ;) want to know if anyone has put a 1jz or 2jz into a corolla before or thinks it will fit

 

any advice or help is appreciated

It could be done but honestly whats the point? Unless it's a drag car then there's not point as it'll handle like crap.

 

Everything would have to be upgraded, clutch setup to hydraulic, pedal box, diff, brakes, transtunnel etc..

 

Then there's loom, mounts, gearbox mount, tailshaft, diff mounts etc etc plus suspension upgrades if you want to even remotely handle

cos, you know, using the search function is so hard. took me all of 5 seconds to find this. just searched '1jz ke55' and it was the 5th thread down.

Its been done many times to early KE corolla's. Will need modification to almost everything though. And yeah, ^like he said^, have a quick search.
