i have an ae71 and was wondering what kind of 4age engine is the best i really want a 20v blacktop but will probebly end up getting a silvertop unless anyone advizes against it.

also just wanna know any problems i might have when having someone put a 4age in my ae71, someone told me once witht he 20v engines a small hole in the firewall had to be cut out to fit the engine in but not sure how reliable this is.

Try the "Engine Conversions" Forum here on RollaClub & the FAQ/Wiki section can be quite useful as well. :y:

Small piece of advice: NEVER rely on heresay/this bloke says... assume its BS until you confirm facts for yourself. You can save a lot of heartache/money this way.

It depends on what you want to spend. A 20v in my opinion is better than a 16v but it also costs a lot more, and then there's always the option of 4agze which is also more than a 16v.

Or if you have deep pockets 7age (7afe bottom end 4age head, 1.8L)

But a 4age 20v will move damn well regardless if it's blacktop etc

good advice this, both points. There is lots of bogus information on here so at times you have to sort through it. I try my best to keep things as accurate and unbiased on my website as I can however I sometimes screw up as well.
