irokin in the top of the bigport manifold the carby ports are almost equal. will a non bigport carby bolt on and be used or is it best to keep the bigport carby???

As far as I remember the carbys were the same size. The manifolds looked the same from the top. Youd be better off with a weber anyway :jamie:

singlecarbs are all the same size, it's the manifold runners that are different. all manifold bolt across all heads

i was also meaning the butterflys in relation to the ports. non bigport has one larger and one smaller. bigport head carby has equal ports. well mine does

not quite, but full marks for noticing there are two different types of aisan carbs

 

K and 3K carbs have 27/27mm throats

4K carbs have 27/32mm throats, but vac sec

 

bigport manifolds are only 3k-sized, but you could hog one out to suit a 4k carb if you wanted
