Plan is photos and inventory of the parts inside the car so the transit company will think twice before stealing stuff. 15 days transit time from brisbane to perth and it will be in my garage. Can't wait. Bought an auto AE93 for 900 bucks for the wife too. Might do a thread when i get some wheels and suspension for some before and after action. Oil filter and spark plug change, charged the battery, started first go like I never left. Â Â Token wet Matte black shot. As shiny as it will ever be. Â Â Clean and complete. The styrofoam box that was sitting on the front seat during storage has marked the dash. Little annoying. Â Little bit of rust here and there to pretty up, hopefully i can do a better matte black job than the last bloke that did it. Shouldn't be too hard to top considering they didn't mask anything, sand anything or remove any of the old crusty GP turbo decals. Might try nato green. Dunno yet. But it has been 18 months. The only thing i can't find is the turbo timer, but I'm pretty sure i threw that out anyway. Even the moderately expensive tools i left in there were untouched. awesome news mate..! looking forward to updates cheers man, will be sooner rather than later. Fun times. Â Â was thinking of a factory 2 tone look. Not sure yet, might just leave it matte black. definitely want to find a similar front lip to this though. Dent in left rear to have a bit of a bash at, learning as i go. Think the roof and rear look pretty good. Decided on the two tone idea, seems to make more sense logistically for some reason. Would love to find original GP Turbo side decals from somewhere. Been looking but no luck so far. Anyway my progress for today...    first time painting something this big… think I'm doing alright so far, going to do as much as i can myself. Any advice appreciated. Thanks for looking.
