coonaPWR Posted June 28, 2011 Report Share Posted June 28, 2011 hey fellas, iv read up and people say to stay well away of the 18rg.. but i have come accross a complete, running celica with the 18rg or 18ru? twin cam twin carb etc etc for $500. and the old 4k isnt too healthy anymore, so it seems like the perfect oppourtunity to ditch the 4k for something better. has anyone here done this swap before?? will the celica x member bolt to the ke70? will there be any trans tunnel work? I've done it to a couple of ke30's before it's not a hard convertion as long as your got access to a welder to make mounts . You'll need a corona sump and pickup . The top hose of your radiator will need to be moved to the other side or use a celica radiator or some thing like it' You'll need to cut a hole for gear stick A custom tail shaft , throttle cable, hydro clutch peddal .
