Ok guys, trying to find a mirror that would look good on my ke70 and can't find anything that i like, so i have decided to run the standard door one that comes on the 83, but i really want a left hand side one too, because as you might know they don't come out with one. So i figured i could try and get one off a left hand drive one but i can't find any at all.

 

Could someone please help me out if they have one or know where to get one from, even a suggestion of different type mirrors that i could run keeping i mind i don't like round ones :)

Na i have only got the 1983 model with the single drivers side mirror and i want to keep the mirror on the door, keeps it old school and + i havent welded the holes up so i can't now cause its been painted. Also can't be stuffed getting the right windows for it, but thanks anyways :y:

Yeah thanks man, i have been looking at both of those options for a while now but i havent seen what the chrome ones look like on a kesev before, they look pretty good actually. I was also just about to buy those black ones off ebay but held off incase i found an original one off a left hand drive.

I think I may still have my LHS one. Ill go check.

Cheers that would be great. i didnt think the flat fronts come out with lhs mirrors, mine didnt.

Found the LHS and RHS one but they are both different. Someone prob found one off something else and chucked it on.

Oh ok, yeah they don't come out with a LHS mirror, the only way i would get one is from Ammerica or where ever else they come out LH drive.

It was optional when they sold the ke70's and mine has one.

I have a spare pair as well too?

Edit: don't have a spare pair. I forgot i sold the doors they were on haha.

Should be able to pick up a left hand side mirror pretty easy though.

Also t18's have the same mirrors and I'm pretty sure they all had the passenger side one.

Check out ke38 panelvans. They were fitted with the black mirrors on the LHS which were

standard kit on early model ke70s. Visually identical, I was scratching for a very long time to source a LH one for mine and then I noticed a handfull of ke38s with them.

 

A reference pic off mine. But also RA40 Celicas (Early models 1977-1978) and MX32 Cressidas (Late model with vertical bar grille). A google/carsales search will confirm these features :y:
