86Ali Posted August 7, 2011 Report Posted August 7, 2011 KE70 - XT130 Struts - What brake lines Bought a project fitted with XT130 struts and LCA,s On the Driver side the metal brake line is non existant and can't find it anywhere! So, just wondering if I use stock KE70 metal brake line and flexible hose, or do you use XT130 parts? Thanks, Al. Quote
Jono.C Posted August 7, 2011 Report Posted August 7, 2011 You'd probabily need the ke70 top half of the hose and xt130 bottom half, but ke70 ones are one piece so you'd have to get them made. They charged $60 the pair a month ago when we had them done Quote
86Ali Posted August 7, 2011 Author Report Posted August 7, 2011 This is my 1st KE70 and i'm not really sure what parts have been used here. This is what I have on the passenger side I just want to replicate that for the other side. Looks like a joiner in the middle? Or has the KE70 line just had the X130 line added to it? Or something made up? Quote
Jono.C Posted August 7, 2011 Report Posted August 7, 2011 On a ke70 where the brake hose meets the strut clip thing it looks like two fitting that's hold two hoses together, which was what i thought but in reality it's only one solid hose Quote
86Ali Posted August 7, 2011 Author Report Posted August 7, 2011 So that is just a stock KE70 brake line I'm looking at? Quote
Jono.C Posted August 7, 2011 Report Posted August 7, 2011 It's hard to say without looking at the ends but the fitting at the brake calliper looks newer than the top one, could have been switched to suit the corona calliper or something Quote
