Have read that it's possible to run a 4age with standard computer and turbo it and all i have to change is injectors and map sensor. supposedly 4agze injectors and 4efte map sensor are used. does anyone know if this will work? Do 4agze's use afm or map sensors? any other map sensors work?

it may work, but it certainly wont work well.

The early ones run AFM and the later ones ran the MAP sensors.

And as above it would not work too well with what you are planning to do. Just spend the money on an aftermarket ECU, because the factory ecu would be around 20 years old and it could be on the way out with a leaky capacitor and corrode the ecu board.
