micheal thanks so much for the awesome photos. its always good to see. as a driver & co-driver i hope we put on a good show for the specys & helps for all these events. without u guys out in the forest we wouldn't have any rallying

ive left thanking Peta untill last. what can i say about mrs Davies. if i didn't have Peta in the car this year wouldn't have happened, shes a amazing person whos movitated the whole team & has kick me in the ass went we were going to slow & has slowed me down when things were getting out of control. shes taken a lot of pressure away from running the car & thats aloud the team to focus on making the car the best it can be. from the first event at gallangown last year to this years gallangown shes always been looking for way to improve her performance & not just sit in the seat & go for a ride.i just can't say enough about Pete!!!

shes a true champion & a great ambassador for the sport just as Mel & Niki Doyle are.

Pix will have to wait for a while, as I have a gut feeling that my portable hardrive/memory card reader didn't like the impact of the crash, and I have been too busy with a conference to sort it out. will get around to it later this week, though.

2514", around 45 minutes. I shouldave used my other camera. Would have given less noise, but it was late and dark and I was tired. :D

Mine can keep going as long as there is battery... probably few days at least... I use bulb mode, with a remote release that can lock the shutter open for however long I want it.

The trouble with shots like this is that you need get _far_ away from populated areas, something I don't like to do wth too much regularity. 'Gowan was god for this, as it was isolated enough that there was not even a hint of city lights around the horizon, perfect for stargazing.

It was lovely and wo-mantic, the sky was so clear and the stars just beautiful
