A mate got his alarm installed there, and the wiring was touching the extractors...........which caused a fire and killed both his wiring loom and the alarm loom. Clown Posted December 23, 2005 Report Share Posted December 23, 2005 If all goes to plan we should be in her mr2, the last trip to melbourne resulted on us driving home on 2 cyl and bearly making it up the pentlands, 2 plugs and leads died. Got everything besides the s/c working properply (suspected dead s/c clutch) then alarm gets installed and it started playing up again. Then its just to get alarm removed, brakes on, stuff around with the charger and hopefully it'll be running good. I'm hoping my spare discs i have are rear discs. Clown Posted December 26, 2005 Report Share Posted December 26, 2005 picked up some interiour glue (17$!!) and some miguiers interiour cleaner today for the misses's car (well the cleaners for mine but i'll give hers a good go). I also picked up some Penrite "Sin" oil for my mr2!. Tomorrow the misses is ringing up to get alarm removed, and we should be getting material for doors in the arvo.
