Rolla__Boy Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 (edited) So what does everyone think of the stickers. All comments welcome, be they positive or negative. Edited December 8, 2005 by Rolla__Boy Quote
Super Jamie Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 i've never been a fan of overly-large-stickered cars unless they're actually sponsored by whoever's on the sticker, there are lots of stickers, and the car actually competes in real motorsport, but that's just my personal preference. if you like how it looks, then go for it Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted December 8, 2005 Author Report Posted December 8, 2005 (edited) I'm not a huge fan of large stickers either...I saw a Prelude the other night with MASSIVE Pioneer stickers down the sides (one of which was backwards...and looked REALLY stupid) but this is really for awareness of this great club. I don't think I would have ever put any other sticker down the side of my car. I just thought the window stickers were a bit small...and wanted some attention :D Edited December 8, 2005 by Rolla__Boy Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted December 9, 2005 Author Report Posted December 9, 2005 People are staring at these stickers....but so are cops...and at the height my car is, I get enough unwanted police attention...I hope this doesn't end up going bad Quote
Super Jamie Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 welcome to being regognised :D Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted December 11, 2005 Author Report Posted December 11, 2005 Oh I am used to that. In the first 3 years of owning my KE35, I got 21 fines. I got pulled over in it everytime I drove it, I got followed, I got harassed. But the problem here is, this is my standard car, well was my standard car. Just don't need the harassment again, especially when I am not actually doing burnouts and stuff anymore. Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted December 11, 2005 Author Report Posted December 11, 2005 There is not too many people into small cars in Canberra that don't know my 35. I have people coming up to me all the time talking about how they saw me here and saw me there, and I have never seen them before Quote
Super Jamie Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 you're like my best mate and his wrx. man i have heard some tall stories about that car, and people talking like they know him so well. i'm the one who's actually worked on it and knows his family, not them! lol well, driving a defect is always a worry, especially when you put bigass stickers down the side of it. if the risk is too great, you've always got all that other suspension in the shed :) Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted December 11, 2005 Author Report Posted December 11, 2005 dude I HATE people who talk like they know all about someone...so stupid...it shits me...I do have other suspension...but there is a few things wrong with changing it to standard...one is...I am extremely lazy, two is...I NEED to stand out :) I will just have to deal with the fuzz Quote
Super Jamie Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 i know this guy in canberra, he's got a ke30 with white rims, on bump stops hey, you should see it. his other corolla has a supercharged v8 in it and he's got huge wheels on it, like 20s or something :) Quote

Trendact Posted January 1, 2006 Report Posted January 1, 2006 Hey I like it promotes a great club  Quote
Clown Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 On the mr2 there's only 2 stickers and badge. Mr2club sticker on drivers 1/4 window, "toyota" sticker on the plastic wind deflector thing, and the "eagle" on the bonet. Quote
