any know if 255's will fit on 8 inch rims?

Not sure but i don't think you will keep the same speedo cailbration if you put 255's on. (One way to find out chuck them on and drive past a speed camera joke :S ). Or just take it to a tyre place and they should tell you :)

the width wont make any difference to the speedo as long as the profile is the same as before, i don't know if my calibration is right at the minute anyway....supra box, 4.3 alfa diff, low profile 15s and the original speedo, I'm not sure if they got the right cable or not, its somethin else i have to look into :)

I wouldnt bet on it, with all that gear it is more than likely to be out.

hmm thats what i thought, but its been running that gear for a while, so i think it may have been done properly, when i get it dyno'd ill compare the speed on the speedo to the speed on the dash...should give me a fair indication :rocknroll:

the wheels look the goods but you so need it lowered and soon :P

 

and theres no way that your (love ke70) speedo will be very acurate with those mods me thinks. but a cop might be able to help you with that :rocknroll:

lol, who knows, it mite be, i mean unless u sit down and actually calculate the rolling diameter of the wheel, work out all the ratios and work out what the throttle cable spins at theres no way you will really know

i know that 638 revolutions is one km on the speedo, but thats all i know :rocknroll:

i just hope its right, if not i have some playing around with numbers to get the right cable :P

youll have to get onto super jamie, hes good a pulling equations out of somewhere for almost anything you need to know

Yes 255's fit on an 8 inch wide rim, so do 265's

no, hence why I'm not gonna go 265's

unless they do fit, but i think 225's are pretty close, close enough for the guards to be rolled anyway
