I really want to put mags on my 1980 ke55 corolla, right now, he just has alloys on him at the moment. I don't want an over the top rim size for him, would prefer a decent enough profile on them). Right now he has 175/65/13.

 

Anyway I just want to know what you guys recommend or have done.

My first ke30 years ago i had 14" rims from a corona on it with 185 tires.

The biggest rim diameter i'd go would be 15"

 

What would you call a "decent enough profile" ? My thoughts would be nothing smaller then a 50 profile, that way some flex and spring in the sidewalls is kept but its stiff enough for a handling bonus.

 

195/55/15 i think any bigger and it'll be overtired.

As stated corona mags would be the go if you're on a budget, if your looking for some other mags try and score some ssr's or similar but nothing too big, 7j should be fine

14x7" Jellybeans looked awesome on my '55. 14" chasers are still pretty common to find and look tidy.
