TBH i just guessed how many degrees it was so may not be exact haha, its on 91, my old 4k ran sweet when the dizzy clip was right above the adjustment bolt so i just did the same. You have been a god send altezza, read through all the carby posts and diagrams to get her running

So sorted the carby out, primary jet was flooding fuel i to the port. Replaced the carby and the car still struggled to take throttle without killing the engine. Timing was also out around 15 degrease so i chirped it up to around 10 advanced, but it pinged under load. Ran out of time last night as neighbours were not to happy about tuning a KE at 10:30

Hey all, Long time no post, but I'm back in a rolla after about 2 years on the dark-side. I recently purchased a KE70 as a slow project for myself and brother / weekend car for myself. Breakdown: 1984 slant front Toyota White recent home spray job ( Pretty good job) 5 speed 300k's sloppy diff Shot carby interior not in the best shape Not drivable in current condition Reasonable price The Plan: Fix it up nice and cleanly. Some nice wheels, Suspension and brakes. RWC then Rego! Not keen on going way over the top like my last rolla. I know next to nothing about the xE7x's as I'm more of a 55 man so ill be asking questions!

As said above they are only a spare wheel from the 31, you must be careful tho as there are two different offsets that they came in. Just scope out all the nissan wreckers in your area and collect them over time. I had a set years ago from doing the same thing, took around 8 weeks to get 5 together Best of luck

Damn!! this looks great dude, well done! As Tally was saying leafs aren't as bad as people portray them. You can fine tune them with added leafs and tramp bars. keep us posted on the progress suspension wise

Took the old girl out for a run today, for the first time in weeks. Charged the battery last night and gave her a wash this morning. Looks like the alternator is on it's way out tho (new one on order) I threw on my roof racks and added some Toyota dust caps ready for summer, so now the old girl is ready for the weekend surfing trips! It will! if you work your blemishes out and work hard enough with the 1800/2000 grit to smooth, use a cut and polish cutting compound and rag, more pressure the better and it will come the goods, finish off with a round of the autosol and it will be smick! The 'one wheel up' method works really well, 5th gear at idle, just make sure you secure the car before attempting! Good luck and mind your fingers

I don't have any ke/ae gear. i was posting this up for the benefit of others / to gain measurements and compare with what i have. Measured up the mounting points.100mm tall and 70mm wide, also break booster and clutch master are also alighned horizontally

I don't have an AE one handy, hence the thread, i did a quick search and found nothing on the matter, I'm just exploring the possibilities for others as almost every old wrecker has an xt but most will not have an ae/ ae pedal box

Hey all, I was thinking the other day about an engine swap in my old corona and realized that it is hydro clutch from factory. Due to the reduculos prices for pedal boxes from AE/TE rolla's could the XT variant be viable option (less the 4AGE tax). If anyone was keen to throw me a few measurements of mounting points and slave positioning, i could have a look at my rig and see if this could be 'doable' option for those who can't find the elusive ae71 pedal box. Lifted the rear today, took the cutties out and kings went in. I'm in love with coil rear now, coming from leaf's. Took me a whole 10 minutes to replace springs. STOKED! once again excuse that I'm not a photographer with my pictures :)
