Trev Posted January 14, 2012 Report Posted January 14, 2012 When you fit it you essentially make the rack longer as the lock spacer is small enough to slide into the housing and give it more travel, when you fit it you rotate the wheel and centre it by going lock to lock and halving it which is now different to your original wheel centre. You will now have more length on either side of your rack head so even though you straighten your wheels up with an alignment, when you turn your wheel there will be more length behind the pivot (rack end) giving you more lock. I hope this is clear enough for you. i deleted what i just wrote because it was stupid, i just saw a pick of one installed and now i get it, it basically spaces the stopper out further so the rack can travel further lol, i feel stupid. :D Edited January 14, 2012 by glenpos Quote
