so i have a ke70 tacho dash I'm not using, i need a tacho for my panel van so i have pulled it apart for the tacho circuit board and what not just have one question i know what pin is the coil - but the other two i can't figure out what they are for.

tacho.jpg the red arrows are the one I'm talking about. theres also a capacitor that seems to be linked between the two red arrows.

any help would be great.

Bottom is 12v ignition (12VIG), other is most likely the earth.

thought that was the case so how does the capacitor come in to this? or isn't it even needed?
