Parts Interchangeability

Is there a thread that out lines parts interchangeability between different model corrollas I'm specifically looking for info on ke10s any 20s I know there is tech articles I conversions but I'm more looking for bolt in stuff.. Ive noticed ke20 parts arw more available.... Ie can I use a Ke 20 diff in a Ke 10 or can I swap any panels between models etc. perhaps a thread people can post up what they have actually done rather than my " my mates uncles sisters dogs cousins wife one saw a bloke put a rotary in a golf kart" ( I would like to see this actually)

All the motors and gearbox's from ke10-ke70 will fit. gotta cut the shifterholes etc.

 

Ke20 diff will fit but will have to have the mounts modified.

 

 

I'm going to be an arsehole here and fair enough if the mods delete this but; The amount of threads you've put up asking if shit fits, seems to me you'd be better off selling the ke10 to someone who will actually look after it or be able to use it for parts to complete a restoration.

 

If you have to ask if i a ke70 diff will fit it then you're not doing well.. We've all asked stupid questions but seems to me you'd be much better off with a ke70.

That's a reasonable statement.

 

If you don't want the hassle of getting the right parts, get something that parts are easy for.

 

KE10 is an orphan if you want to swap most parts (apart from engines) as a direct bolt in swap.

 

Panels from anything else won't fit. You can graft 20 struts in but it's a bit of rooting around. KE20 diff will be wider. Grills, bars and any trim you can think of are unique.

Or at least ask this stuff in your rides thread.

Then new topics don't need to be made. People who are interested in your build will give you better advice, the rest of the community wont slowly get annoyed.
