B.L.Z.BUB Posted February 26, 2012 Report Posted February 26, 2012 You missed the most important step which is uninstalling internet explorer and installing Google Chrome. Quote
Jono.C Posted February 26, 2012 Author Report Posted February 26, 2012 Weh. I have my MacBook pro dualbooted and IE runs faster with some processors stopped than chrome or Firefox. Also. Getting passwords out of chrome is possibly the easiest thing ever. Just a warning. Quote
irokin Posted February 26, 2012 Report Posted February 26, 2012 Just moved this somewhere it won't get lost. Great guide, rep the shit out of it people :) Disagree with IE, malware liability as far as I'm concerned but each to their own. They have improved but I'm not convinced its as resilient as chrome/firefox/safari. Have to say I'm very impressed by the diversity of browsers people use on RC: A few years ago IE would have comfortably accounted for 50% Quote
Jono.C Posted February 26, 2012 Author Report Posted February 26, 2012 There are better things than IE I'll agree, but it's a relatively fresh installation of windows and I haven't had the ability to grab some software from tafe yet Quote
