Haven't seen anything on the topic, but heard about it from a friend as the bloke that bought his old 38 used a Y series (2Y i think) crank as a stroker crank for a 7K. Pushing it's capacity to arounf 2.1L

 

Anyone heard if this being done?

ive been contemplating putting a Y seried engine in the rolla, 2 litre, still carbed, still toyota, shouldnt get any hassle from police as it looks stock, can buy the motor in a van for under 500.

 

as for a stroker for the 7k sounds interesting but never seen or heard of it

2Y is 78mm? stroke and 7K 87.5mm so doesnt make sense..

Have heard of modified 4Y crank (86mm stroke?)in 3T tho.

Not too sure then. I'm still waiting on some more details tho.
