fumeck Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 ive heard that i can't use a fwd ae82 alternator belt on a rwd application is this true? also diff options I'm thinking of buying an lsd ae86 diff for my ke70 do they bolt straight up? sorry for novice questions i have googled but cannot really find what i want cheers luke :) Quote

The water pump pulley has a slightly different offset from RWD-FWD versions of the 4AGE engines. Quote
parrot Posted March 13, 2012 Report Posted March 13, 2012 What he said. Also there are two different alternator pulley sizes. Most likely, assuming your engine is a local AE82 bigport, you will need a 5PK830. If you have a later alternator with the larger pulley, you need a 5PK840. But yes you need to work out the alignment issues first. With respect to your diff, search on here. Quote
