update.

engine bay has come up awsome in black,

the roughness of the rear back quarter: ive cleaned it all back its now all smooth, gonna do another fill of bog and then sand it back straight :)

this week ill be gettin the engine ready in the ke38 ready to swap to the 55.

so far so good :)

gday all, got some good news!!

 

last couple of days me n my mate josh have been gettin the ke38 engine ready to be swapped into the ke55!!(can't wait!!!)

yesturday/night we took off the drive train, diff, and rear axles, and the gearbox bracket mounts thing and stripped the interior, struts, sway bar, steering arms, and lower control arms.\

today we cut the front off for some reason, easier access to the engine i think haha but anyway i took out the electrical looms and we finished stripping the inside, (shes almost a bare shell now haha)

so at the moment the engine is almost ready to be swapped over just gotta take out the clutch cable and accelorater cable, I'm now decideing on whether to buy an engine crane which I'm in need of or just hire one for a few days.

Got a big surprise comin..

I've decided to swap my ke55 + wheels+ cash for a rolls on the better side, as much as I wanted to finish this it's gonna end up Being to much of a pain coz I need fuel lines brake lines, so not this weekend but the one after I'll be picking up my new rolla which I can't wait to get, stay tuned to find out what it is :)
