gday, just an update.

 

i sorta lost interest quick in the 55 due to not being able to find any front quarters or bonnet or anythin that i need! and still havnt had any luck :(

but i was just lookin at cuzzo's project 55 build and found a pic on his page for some inspiration thanks buddy ;)

So yeh gonna keep lookin out for some parts and engine n shit,

If anyone knows of anyone sellin parts for a 55 or 30 please let me know,

update!

so today my mate came round n weve fixed the handbrake! at last don't have to put bricks behind the tires haha

we also fixed the steering box, there was a clunking noise goin on pretty sure thats done and dusted also :)

so at the moment I'm lookin for a job coz i needa start gettin some parts on the car

ok so ive just bought a 4k engine the guy says it runs when he puts fuel in the carby so he rekons its the fuel lines and fuel pump thats f*%ked and also an auto gear box for $100

I'm wrapped finally the car is in progress, i think I'm picking it up after easter but yeh really excited to start some engine work!!

Yes mate, ke55 and ke30 are the same. 35, 36 & 38 too btw!

update today ive been grinding n sanding back the back quarter panel almost done n gonna get ready for some filler,

gday all, today i grinded back the rear quarter panel where the bumps n dints n shit is, i started making it as smooth as i could, so tomorow its supposed to be a nice day so the plan is to bog it up :)

 

 

my mates also comin with his welder on the weekend so where gonna fix the rust in the door, it was quite a suprise when i saw how much there was when i grinded it back :o plus I'm picking up a beaver panel off josh from (josh`s ke38 build)

update time :)

my mate came round this weekend with his welder so i finally got to fix the door n filler it in.looks nice now :)

 

 

 

 

i went to josh`s ( he owns the ke36 pano) n picked up a beaver panel for $10 plus he gave me a fuel pump, pretty wrapped :)

 

 

 

also done a 1st layer of white in the engine bay, dunno whether i wanna keep it white or just go black, any ideas?

yeh i may have to mate, I'm only lookin for the passenger door now as ive fixed the back one,

 

ive spoken to the guy about the 4k engine his sellin me for 100 bucks, he said his pulling it out this weekend so hopefully ill have it this weekend if not the following week, wrapped as!!

update.

ok so the left back door is completed and back on and lookin sick!!

 

so now that ive done that door i decided to look around the inside edges of the others and the front passenger door has been hit hard with rust around the edging!! so I'm trying what ever i can to fix it, if my magic doesnt work I'm gonna have to go on the hunt for a passenger door.

while ive been lookin for some guards n shite. i came across another car wont say what it is, thats a suprise!

but its got its got a 4kc engine 4 speed manual box n everything ive been lookin for such as exterior stuff, also has interior! the engine has i think 270,000ks

on it so I'm guessing thats alright for an older car?

but anyways I'm hopefully going to be picking up this misterious car tomorow, so stay tuned to find out what it is!!!
