does 3k-b head suitable for 4k engine??which head gives more power for 4k engine??

have a bit of a search around.

 

the 3k head is the slightly bigger ports, but it is now a minimum of 35yrs old.

 

best bet is to get the newest 4k head you can find, and get it ported better than the 3k head could ever be.

What are you planning Jack, and what sort of use will it get?

 

Twin carbs? Cam grind? High compression?

 

Road use everyday? Weekend warrior only? Lightweight motorsport?

 

All those will determine what revs you will use & what porting will work best. Its no use trying to drive a race car to work everyday, and its no use trying to build a daily that does 7500rpm.

What would you suggest altezzaclub for everyday use?
