Alrighty guys I'm after some informed opinions towards a solution to my little problem.

my sistter has bought a ke30 lastweek, it runs pretty well..

i suggested her to replace alot of main things e.g

Ignition coil

leads

plugs

hoses

thermostat

i got stuck in after work and changed her coil over to the new Bosch GT40R

and also changed her leads to top gun high temp leads

and plugs

it started to run ruff, it idles but you can hear it trying to die everynow and then..

i swapped everything back to original but it still wants to run ruff.. i will have attached a video of the car running so you can understand soon.. thanks very much

points gap, timing.

did you put in new points and condenser too? new dizzy cap and rotor button?

does it miss under load and normal driving? or just idle?

haha! I'll bet your name is mud with your sister now! You've ruined her new baby!

Start with what TE27 said, doesn't matter if you use new or the old parts, just check the points gap, & the timing and look for a wire on the wrong place or loose or almost broken.

Pull the leads off while the motor is running and see if each cylinder responds the same. Having one cylinder crap out is quite a different problem to ahving all 4 run badly.

If the electrics all seem fine start on the carb.

Ignition coil

leads

plugs

hoses

thermostat

Put points and condenser on there if you haven't already, and loook at the wires in the dizzy carefully. Wiggle the wires on the ballast resistor while its running too and make sure that's not the problem.
