Having friends in the military and currently overseas has given me a better understanding of Anzac day. Thanks to both our fallen soldiers and to my friends currently serving. Hope to see you soon! My late step-grandfather serviced in ww1, would have died there (and his squad) if one of his mates didn't jump onto and use his body as a shield over a grenade.
