4Agze Not Running Properly When Hot, Need Help

G'day all, i have a 4agze in my ke70 track car, it seems to run good when i first start it, it idles at about 2000rpm but wont adjust down, when i hold the revs at about 2300rpm it goes down to 1500 and then back up to around 2300 and doesn't stop till i take my foot off or give it more, then when it warms up a fair bit it starts to do it without any throttle and makes a clicking sound as it goes down in revs, the clicking sound is coming from the inlet side, could it be a injector playing up? it also runs a bit rich but i don't know how to adjust it haha, I'm getting a new set of plugs for it, coz the ones in it are old as, could that be the problem too? cheers glen

Check the cooling system for a start and also check the intake hoses for splits, the adub I had was a pig to drive at 1st and I found a split in the intake.

i think i found the problem, it seems the afm has been opened, i saw on a thread that if it is changed it will make it run richer, and hunt at idle and stop all of the sudden, I'm looking at one on ebay so i might get it and see if it works.
