short answer is yes.

long answer is if is from a series 1 going into a series 2 or vice'a'versa, you will need the mounting brackets for the corresponding front bar, doable but a pain if you don't have the right parts

Mystik raised a good point, make sure your replacement bar has all the bracketry with it because there may be differences between the two units.

Series one has more lines running through it, it also has two ventilation ducts at the very bottom as well. This type of bumper sits a little more flush with the grille and headlights (doesent stick out as far as the series two).

This is the series one:

This is my series two, This type sits out a little further, sits lower to the ground, has a larger air flow area and larger indicator units.

the brackets fairly different from memory, main reason i know this is that i own a series 1 & 2 ae9x :hmm:

I'm thinking it may be due to the depth differences of the two bars. Ive only had this series two so I can't compare it to anything else. But going by eye the series two sticks out more.

i couldnt really say either as one is a hatch the other is a seca so really its apples and oranges.

but the seca has now copped an fxgt front bar which hides an intercooler nicely ;)
