Alright so ive replaced my rear main twice now and the second time i did it i also sleeved the crank thinking that was the issue but NO its still leaking. Not sure why its still leaking. Just wondering if anyone else has had an issue like this. When i get time to pull it down again I'm gunna check the rear main housing and see if thats the issue. Also what sorta oil pressure should i be aiming for because at the moment at start up its around 80-90psi and starts to drop as it gets hot then sits around 50-60psi while driving. Is this too high because i am using quite a thick oil (penrite 20w60) to help reduce the tappet noise haha.

Any suggestions or advise would be highly appreciated as i don't enjoy stripping my car in my single car garage all the time lol.

sure its the sump gasket in the corners?

Evan, Whats the tip on stopping the sump gaskit leaking around the rear main, I got 2, 3k's both leaking there. :-(

remove the engine. get yourself some "threebond" from any mercedes benz or fuso truck centre. around $35 a tube. its the bees knees of selants. pm me if you can't find any
