Hey everyone I'm just doing my 4age rebuild and I was just wondering the 16v 4age's have different cranks in oppose to big port- small ports or blue top and red tops!

The later engines had a bigger journal crank (thinks its 42mm instead of 40mm). When we rebuilt ours we bought one of egay as we put H-Beam rods in it and they only fit the larger journal cranks.

As Rob said, all 4AGE cranks are identical except for the 3-rib bigports ("bluetops) which had a smaller journal diameter.

 

ToyoDIY confirms the part numbers - 13401-16010 for the early 40mm ones (bluetops), 13401-16020 for the rest (42mm, including all 4AGZEs).
