Project Sprinter Posted July 13, 2012 Report Share Posted July 13, 2012 I have a small Corolla badge (apx 6cm tall x 2.5 cm wide) that has a large "L" below the famed Corolla "C" with three stars above. On the back it says that it was produced by Half Moon Prod. Melb. Would love to know anything about this part manufacturer - perhaps somebody out there worked for AMI or Toyota may know something of them? parrot Posted July 15, 2012 Report Share Posted July 15, 2012 I am pretty sure they were a badge manufacturer (no shit sherlock) who produced all sorts of enamelled badges and pins. Same as today you can go and get stuff made to order. Presumably Toyota got some badges made here to help ensure sufficient local content.
