azzy_10 Posted August 7, 2012 Author Report Posted August 7, 2012 not camming the motor i just done timming and sump gasget Quote
altezzaclub Posted August 7, 2012 Report Posted August 7, 2012 What you said sounds good- it will all work even better with a better cam of course. 32/36 is quite a lot cheaper than the DCOE, and you could go down a size if you can find one. I think there are 28/32 DGAs around. Quote
azzy_10 Posted August 8, 2012 Author Report Posted August 8, 2012 Not doing any thing seriouse to my motor i pretty sure its original soo i wana keep the old stuff i got a spare 3k that I'm guna build a tuff one with the whole works big intake cam ported head 400+ lift cam extractors and decked head and rebuild with over sized pistons and ballenced up to do what ever 8000rpm+ or somthing. I was guna rebuild my asian carb but was thinking i got a friend that owns a ford wreckers i can get a working dgv for 35 bucks then recon that and get the adaptor kit and get some decent extractors on my standard. See if he can find the 28/32, but if not the 32/36 will do. Reco the carb and find the extractors, then pull the head off and match the ports before you have it skimmed. At least you have done all the head work by then and the cam can be done later. I found the manifolds didn't line up very well and it takes time to get it all dead right, but that is better than having manifold bolts come loose later on. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/42407-the-girls-ke70/ Quote
