FlyinHawaiian Posted August 9, 2012 Report Posted August 9, 2012 Hey guys, So i have a 1982 Toyota Corolla Wagon TE72 and I'm looking to put on some new wheels and tires. I was thinking about the ROTA Wheel Grid Classic, 15x8, 4x114.3, with a 0 offset. Tires: thinking 195/50/15 or 205/50/15?... I don't know if these wheels are to big or to wide i need to know if they will fit.. Need info and suggestions!!! Thanks! Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted August 9, 2012 Report Posted August 9, 2012 They will fit with a bit of stretch and you will have to lip your guards. I made this thread with a lot of good info/topics on the subject : http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/57216-ke70-wheel-thread/ Short answer they will fit with a little bit of work, long answer see the above link. 1 Quote
FlyinHawaiian Posted August 9, 2012 Author Report Posted August 9, 2012 Well I was really not looking forward to doing any work at all to make tires fit... So would I have to go like 14x7.5 185/55/14? Just want something that would fit with out working on my guards Quote
Jono.C Posted August 9, 2012 Report Posted August 9, 2012 Really depends on your desired ride height Quote
FlyinHawaiian Posted August 9, 2012 Author Report Posted August 9, 2012 I'm going with a 2" drop Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted August 9, 2012 Report Posted August 9, 2012 You will need to lip your guards. If you want to run stock guards look for wheels that are 6" wide with a bit of positive offset. Quote
FlyinHawaiian Posted August 10, 2012 Author Report Posted August 10, 2012 Dang alright thanks guys! Quote
