The badges are only held on by pins, so they can be changed Willy nearly, but it's likely it may have another guard on it either from damage or rust to the original.

Do the indicator match on both sides?

What kind of style are you looking for?

More things to go check by the look mate. Thank you soo much for your assistance with this. We have learnt more things about the car off you and Ken in the last 2 days than we have in the last 2 years,

What we are trying to do is bring her back as close as we can to original condition but realistic to know that may not always be possible.

Found this picture which would be pretty close to when the car was brand new, You are right, the grill has been changed along the way at some point.

Cheers

Dave

Pretty Much Brand New

Fantastic old pic :)

I'm struggling to find door mirrors that I'm happy with for mine. From what I understand they should be the below shape... but I'm not sure because most of the fully restored ones have round fender mirrors (which I don't want).

Just looking through your pics, your car does have the squared guage surround. Also the boot badge differs slightly from the 67.

http://www.rollaclub.../1171-blingjpg/ this is the 67, your's is close but slightly different... I can't believe how many small changes they made over the years!

Edit: this is the 67 dash:
