Hi. I would like to know how to convert the manual transmission to auto transmission (toyoglide) for my KE20. I understand I will need to install the coolant piping from the auto gearbox to the radiator. The problem is my radiator is not meant for auto transmission. I am confused if the toyoglide will need to run a coolant system like the engine.

Please help.

just install a transmission cooler (it looks like a small radiator)

Yeah mate the piping from the radiator doesnt carry coolant to the transmission it is to cool the auto trans oil. Like flyinwall said your cheapest and easiest option would be to get an aftermarket oil cooler and mount it yourself. Would perform better than the stock radiator anyway.

No you wont need another pump. Coolant does not go to transmission. It has an internal oil pump for transmission oil which will flow to your new oil cooler once plumbed up

So you mean the internal oil pump is build in the gearbox. I just need to find a suitable piping to connect it to the after market oil cooler. What happen if the oil pump is not working? Can i change the oil pump?

yes it is internal. the aftermarket oil cooler kit may come with piping. If not then it will be easy to buy from any automotive store. just tell them what you are doing with the hose and they should be able to get you something as long as you know the lengths you require.

If that 'pump' in the transmission isn't working the whole transmission wont work at all so you better hope it is working.

As far as replacing it goes... i'm pretty new to the Toyota scene but i'm gonna guess that you wont be able to find any internal parts for the gearbox so it would be a better paperweight than a gearbox, however if i'm wrong feel free to join in anyone :)
