Hi guys

picked up a brand new car this week and I'm keen to make sure i keep it in primo condition.

I've cut and polished plenty of old bangers before, but that's clearly not way to roll how.

Just keen to know:

- what's the best way to protect the paint, post wash

- good products that people have used before?

It's black, so shes gonna need plenty of washing.

Meguiars NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0, comes in a liquid or a paste (synthetic based wax). Use it on my white golf, comes up a treat, use it on the wheels also, easier to clean the next time.

I currently work for a auto refinnish company and most of the panel shops are using

Auto glym super resin polish ( no buff required can be applied by hand }

Cheers woz

When I was at CRC we had Flashwax, which was white spirits with wax dissolved into it rather than the wax/white spirits-water emulsion that 90% of polishes are. It spread the wax very evenly as a liquid, and had very fine grinding particles to make it easy to rub off. This meant it didn't remove much of the paint.

I don't know if it is still available, or if you can find some similar product that has no water in and a very fine particle size.
