faulksy Posted March 14, 2006 Author Report Share Posted March 14, 2006 car wasnt painted my me but was painted fairly cheaply. there is a things I'm not happy with but overall its a good job for the price. If I'm not happy with the finished product I'll fix it up the following summer. Main aim is to get this on the road in the next 2 months. Judging by the side on photo, the paint has come off the gun a bit dry. More thinners would have given it a shiner finish (especially off acrylic) It will still polish up ok There are different grades of thinners used in painting, cheaper grades give shittier finishes, but you are right also, more thinners would give a shinier finish and that is only with acrylic.
