what is the weather in late august/ early september like in brisbane?

we will be going for a loan soon, so we don't want to honeymoon if all it's going to do is rain

so.....

what's the weather going to be like in late aug./sept.?

its queensland. we ARE the sunshine state. what do u have to worry about :D

depending what climate you are coming from it will likely be quite pleasant....

rain is unlikely and sporadic, can never really tell when its likely to rain and usually doesnt last too long anyway :D

cold, but the rain usually is scarse at that time of year.

Be prepared for the westerly winds then.

Every year without fail we get westerly winds during August.

The past few winters have been rather mild so don't expect anything different again this year.

 

Two winters ago I went down to Puckapunyal to visit relos during August and spent my time down there in Jeans and t-shirt + long sleeve shirt.

Came back to QLD and was back in shorts and t-shirts.

well; airfare is going to cost over $3000.00usd, so aus. is looking a little distant

we might do hawaii, or jamacia. but i REALLY want to do aus.

September is the beginning of storm season. Usually you'll have a really hot day then possibly a storm late afternoon or early evening.

 

I might be able to take you for a scenic flight by august :)....unfortunatly I don't do crossings of the Pacific ocean.
