IInet for the massiv win

I'm on BigPond with the 512 Unlimited plan at $69.95 (half price for the first 6 months). The only reason I went up to that plan was because I kept going over my 400mb limit or 800mb limit, whatever it was. My download speed doesn't actually seem very quick (maybe I'm just used to it), and it shits me that I pay $69.95 per month when OptusNet have so much better prices (except it's not offered in the NT or Tassie).

 

Would love to have iiNet ADSL 2+ but I hear that you only get anywhere near 20,000kb/s if you live on the same block as their server.
