hey guys good to see the nt section getting some notice. i would love to come up for ur cruise but funds and the fact that i dunno if my car will make it worry me a lil and yes it would be a fairly slow trip but oh well, hope i can join u's on a cruise in the near future should be awsome

Hey all, yeah I'm alive. bit busy with year 12 at the moment... :D . And still haven't got my damn p's! Hopefully tomorow will change that...!

 

But yeah, just a quick note to say I'm alive. and If a cruise goes ahead and I am on the road then I'd be more than willing to attend and meet you lot :D

And rolla70 - good to hear from you! We will definitely try and get you involved in a cruise sometime. If worst comes to worst, then I might drive down and visit you in August (on Picnic Day weekend), as I'll be doing the Rejex Rally and will be over halfway to Katherine anyway.

Brent from work seems keen (and he's got plenty of money saved away for a car, but he doesn't mind spending $60 on go-karting).

 

Chris who came on the first RollaClub NT cruise and drove the shit coloured AE71 may also come along. He'll give everyone someone they can beat as he'd have the worst power-to-weight ratio (as I told him this evening :D).

Well i hope its going to go as plan. Sounds like we'll have 5 or more cars this time round. :D

 

i'll keep ya's posted on any changes if there is any but so far, its all good to go. anyone got idea's of a route yet, i think start at cas, do a lap around town then head to hidden valley.

 

simple, any comments on this is good, i'm not sure how long we want to cruise for, just give a couple of hours for go-karting so would have to be there at 1pm abouts with Ancullens working timetable.

 

lunch first at 11, then cruise at 12, arrive at go-karting at 1.

Sounds great. I'll sketch up a route if you'd like. It gives me a chance to put Google Earth and my street directory to good use.

How about starting in Casuarina (after lunch), follow Trower Rd west, right onto Progress Drive, left onto Dick Ward Drive, left onto East Point Rd, left onto Gardens Rd (been dying to drive that on a cruise), right onto Daly St, left onto Mitchell St, left onto Bennett St, left onto McMinn St, right onto the Stuart Highway and onto Hidden Valley.

Congrats dan on getting your P's :D yeh ancullen I'm still around man the rolla at the moment is under repair but should be out soon, i've talkt to sirolla about the cruise in april i'll be coming to that no problem but like zmit and killswitch said i've also eneterd year 12 so limited time latley :D but if something comes up with rollaclub soon or when ever put my name down ;)

Geez, that's a few of you doing Year 12 this year. I hope you all plan on staying in the NT (unlike Daven you bloody traitor :D). Well, that looks like pretty good numbers for the cruise. So far we've got Daven, me, Styx, Killswitch, plus my mates Anthony and Brent (both of whom came to the motorkhana). That's six people for go-karting, with about five cars (Brent can't drive yet). Plus however many you've spoken to Daven. Starting to look really good.

lol. too true. i've been around a bit, was down at hidden valley on sunday (but on flags) and just havent seen the point in posting anything. i'm doin yr 12 as well but i reckon i could make time for a cruise. i can't make it the easter weekend at all. but the anzac weekend sounds good.

 

go kartings gonna be tight though....
